When we decided to mate to keep a puppy from Tosca, it were days and nights studying pedigrees. A long search with the added difficulty of moving. We were in a period of restrictions due to covid.
Nevertheless, armed with a chamber of commerce extract and swab covid, we decided to go even across the border.
Waiting for us was a beautiful Male, small lively and really very attentive to what his owner asked to him.
The pedigree already said a lot, were present Lagotto Romagnolo champions and excellent breeding dog.
KAN TRACE BAZOOKA JOE, COINCIDENCE OF THE FARNIE, RAPINE OF THE THREE T’s and LUCIGNOL OF THE PEACH.
Bart, Terracarnica Bixby, was truly a happy surprise.
The litter was beautiful, unexpectedly Mama Perla also gave us beautiful flamed puppies.
One of those pups was TOSCA. Brother Newton is our breeding male, another sister is in the United States and will soon start her broodmare career as well, and another sister in Italy will also be a Mama.
In Tosca’s time we had to keep the sister for our American friends, so we went for walks with both of them. They had asked us to give her pup a distinctive name of area she comes from., So we decided to call them both Tosca( fromTuscany). But on the leash how to understand each other to call and correct them?…. ToscITA and ToscUSA was the solution.
Even today, every now and then a sweet, ” Toschita!!!” comes out.
Tosca is a beautiful Lagotta, small in size, with a beautiful head and a very sweet look. Hers is fiery coat and a thick curl.
In character she is super sweet, a little wary of strangers but obedient and affectionate. We are so in love with Tosca. In her first litter she is showing herself to be a super mom, and we are sure that this experience will make her much more trusting with humankind…thanks to the families who will come to see and touch her wonderful puppies, and there will be no shortage of cuddles for her too.
